I'm a computer science professional specializing in machine learning, currently working at the Technology Innovation Institute in Abu Dhabi. My background includes industrial experience at TCS Research,  Microsoft Research, and G42, along with academic research experience at MBZUAI and IIT Madras.  I hold an MSc in Computer Vision from MBZUAI and a BTech in Information Technology from Anna University (TCE). 

I'm currently focused on Generative AI with Large Language Models, with practical experience in fine-tuning for audio (sound, music, speech) and image understanding, while also covering language pretraining, faster inference with distillation, and evaluation. My expertise extends to diverse Machine Learning applications in Language, Audio, Vision, and Time Series.

I’ve led winning teams at IEEE SLT 2022 international hackathon and 8 national hackathons in the UAE (ADAFSA, GITEX, KIC) and India (TCS-IEC, TCS-DDS, IIT Madras, HCL, MHRD). My first-authored work includes a US patent and publications in venues such as ACL/EMNLP Workshops, ICASSP, and PAKDD.
