I'm a computer science professional specializing in machine learning, currently working at the Technology Innovation Institute in Abu Dhabi. Previously, I’ve worked at TCS Research, Microsoft Research, G42, and IIT Madras.  I hold an MSc in Computer Vision from MBZUAI and a BTech in Information Technology from Anna University. 

My current focus is on Generative AI with Large Language Models, with practical experience in fine-tuning for audio and image understanding, along with language pretraining, faster inference via distillation, and evaluation. I bring experience across diverse Machine Learning applications in Language, Speech, Audio, Vision, and Time Series.

I’ve led winning teams at the IEEE SLT international hackathon and multiple national hackathons in the UAE and India. My first-authored works include a US patent and publications in venues such as ICASSP, ASRU, PAKDD, etc.
